-Important Notice – Changes to Japan Post International Mail Services.
At Aiyu Japan, we would like to inform our customers about an official announcement from Japan Post (日本郵便) regarding changes to certain international mail services, which will take effect starting December 31, 2025.
-What did Japan Post announce?
Japan Post has confirmed the discontinuation of certain Registered Mail services that means Small Package / AirMail (Economy).
Instead of Small Package (economy shipping), a new replacement service called “ePacket Light” will be introduced. For the time being, this service will be available only for selected countries.

-How does this affect Aiyu Japan shipments?
Aiyu Japan regularly use Japan Post services, especially:
- Small Package (AirMail / Economy)
- EMS (Express Mail Service)
With these changes:
- Small Package (AirMail / Economy) will no longer be available for certain contents
- EMS will continue to be available without any changes.
-Effective date
December 31, 2025
Until that date, current services will continue to operate normally.
-Our commitment to you
We are already exploring more affordable international shipping alternatives. We hope that by early 2026, we will be able to count on UPS and FedEx as new shipping partners.
For the time being, you may continue using EMS (Express Mail Service) and DHL Express shipments without any issues.
