    About real value item declaration for customs

    Aiyu Japan informs all customers that, starting from April 2026, we will strictly apply our real purchase value declaration policy to all international shipments handled through our Shopping Agent Service.

    ⚠️ Requests to modify, reduce, adjust, or declare values different from the actual amount paid by the customer will not be accepted.

    This measure reflects our commitment to operating in a transparent, orderly, and regulation-compliant manner in Japan, while helping prevent customs verification issues, requests for additional documentation, delays, or inspections by the relevant authorities.

    📦 Current exception: Locker Service
    For shipments handled through our Locker Service, customers may indicate the value to be declared only by sending a formal email confirmation to:

    customs@aiyujapan.com

    The email must include the requested declared value and the corresponding Shipping ID.

    🛡️ Shipment responsibility and insurance
    In the event of loss, claim, damage, customs investigation, or any incident related to shipment insurance, Aiyu Japan’s responsibility and any possible compensation will be strictly limited to the value declared by the customer at the time of authorizing the shipment.

    Aiyu Japan will not assume responsibility for any difference between the real value of the contents and the value voluntarily declared by the customer.
