Final prices of main services
The amounts of ¥500 per purchase item, ¥1,000 per locker package, and ¥3,000 per visit are final service prices paid by the customer. Transportation, products and add-ons are separate concepts and are displayed prior to approval. The invoice or receipt presents the tax treatment that corresponds to each service, without adding a tax surcharge to the final announced amount.
How an item is counted
The quote must show how many purchase units generate a fee. For lots and sets sold as a single listing, Aiyu will indicate before checkout whether they count as one purchase item and what the total charge is. A lot is not broken down to increase the commission after the customer accepts.
External costs
Store price, shipping within Japan, auction commissions if any, special packaging, additional coverage, and international shipping are different concepts. Taxes and import expenses may be charged at destination when they are not included in the contracted route.
The final quote must clarify the tax treatment of each concept and respect the final announced prices. 10% is not automatically added to a price that already includes tax. Nor is a tax refund promised to the client for the mere export.
Two payment stages
First stage: product, intermediation and known national expenses. Second stage: international transportation, accepted additionals and justified adjustments. If a cost cannot be initially known, it will be indicated and your approval will be sought before committing it where appropriate.
Rate changes
New prices are reported prior to a new contract and are not applied retroactively to an already accepted quote. The customer receives a breakdown to verify which service was charged and why. See also Shipping costs.
Extended EMS coverage
The additional Aiyu to manage the EMS coverage extension costs ¥500 per shipment. It must be requested and paid before shipping; The value actually protected and the conditions must appear in the quote. Without a contracted extension, EMS's ordinary coverage is up to ¥20,000 per shipment. This add-on is not an official Japan Post flat rate nor is it the Aiyu Air add-on. Consult Claims and coverage.
