Aiyu Japan Additional Services: what they are and when to use them
Before requesting international shipping for your items, you can request additional services to inspect, photograph, protect, or better prepare your packages inside Aiyu Japan’s warehouse.
What are Additional Services?
Additional Services are optional services you can request for an item that is already available in Aiyu Japan’s warehouse. They are designed to give you more control before your purchases are shipped internationally.
For example, you can request a photo to check the contents, individual protection to better protect an item, a specific measurement if you need to confirm dimensions, or a basic function check for certain electronic products.
These services are not mandatory. They are intended for cases where you want to inspect, protect, or better prepare a package before consolidation or international shipping.
How to find Additional Services in your account
Additional Services are requested from the Storage section. This is where you can see the items that are already available in Aiyu Japan’s warehouse.
Log in to your Aiyu Japan account from the website.
Open the section where your available items are displayed.
Choose the package or product you want to request a service for.
A window with the available options will open.
Select the service you need and confirm it from your dashboard.
Available Additional Services
Below you can see what each service is for and when it may be useful to request it.
We open the shipping box and take a photo of the product while the product packaging remains closed.
We open the original packaging and take detailed photos so you can check the item’s visible condition or possible visible damage.
We add extra individual packaging, such as bubble wrap or additional protection, applied to the item.
We check whether the product turns on and works correctly, either with batteries or connected to power. Please specify the exact item and the quantity you want tested.
A video of up to 1 minute showing the unboxing and the condition of the contents.
A service for anime figures. It includes opening the box, protecting the figure, and flattening the original box. Please select the number of figures.
We perform a specific measurement or check requested by the customer. Please clearly indicate which dimension, detail, or feature you would like us to verify.
Important information about Additional Services
Before requesting a service, make sure you know what you need to confirm and leave clear instructions when the service requires specific details.
The total cost of Additional Services is automatically added to the international shipping invoice.
The free reception photo is removed from the system after 72 hours.
For checks, measurements, or function tests, please state exactly what you want us to verify.
Important: some services require opening the shipping box or the original product packaging. If you want to keep the packaging unopened, carefully review the service type before confirming your request.
When should you request an Additional Service?
It may be useful to request an Additional Service when the item is delicate, collectible, second-hand, expensive, difficult to replace, or when you need to confirm a specific feature before shipping it internationally.
